The 48 “Chalets” are located in a beautiful area of the Worriken holiday complex with ample space for sports, play and other free-time activities such as pleasurable walks with the family. There is a playground, a boules court, table tennis tables and a meadow for playing Frisbee golf. You will be enchanted immediately by the charming timber walls when you enter your “Chalet.” From a cosy hallway, you enter the living area, consisting of a living room with comfy sofas, a TV and a dining area. You will find a well-equipped kitchen with electric range, coffee maker, microwave, cooking utensils and silverware on the ground floor. You will have plenty of personal privacy as desired in the bedrooms, one with a double bed, a bathroom and separate toilet. There is a second bedroom with two single beds on the first floor. Five of you travelling together? There is an additional bed in the hallway. Your dog is also welcome in Worriken. Gather with family around the camping table on the patio in the evening to relive the adventures of the day together. Finish the day with a scrumptious barbecue when the weather is nice. By the way: our chalets have been awarded the East Belgian quality seal of approval (“Servicequalität Ostbelgien”). Kids Activities Our “Chalets” are perfect for families to relax and find peace in the natural environment. But you certainly will not be bored! You will experience mutual adventures in nature and enjoy the landscape with your family. Venntastic Beach and the Vita Sport program are just two examples from our diverse, kid-friendly sports programs here at Worriken. Looking for a nice stroll suitable for children? How about a treasure hunt, the village rally in town or the fitness trail in the forests around Worriken? Are you familiar with geocaching, the digital scavenger hunt for all ages? There are also geocaches in this area. Can you find them? Sports camps, morning crafting sessions for children from 3 to 7 y/o – Vita Kids – and morning sport sessions for children from 8 to 13 y/o – Vita Junior – are organised during the summer break from school. That means the adults can have a breather and take advantage of the opportunity to go for a hike or cycling tour without the kids. Don’t forget to book these activities to ensure your kid’s place. Your holiday home is generally ready for you to occupy it by 3:30 PM. We ask that you please have your holiday home ready for acceptance by 10:30 AM on the day of your check-out. But you can arrive any time. We are happy to hold your luggage in storage. That’s on your arrival and on your day of departure. Arrivals and departures are not possible on 25/12 and 01/01. What are the hours of operation for reception? Our hours of operation vary depending on the season and occupancy. Is check-in permitted outside the hours of operation? You may check-in outside the reception’s hours of operation. Please contact our reception at least one day in advance for this in order to make the best possible arrangements. Is an oven available in the holiday home? No, an oven is not available in the chalet. Are house pets allowed in the holiday home? Yes, up to 2 house pets are generally permitted per holiday home. They must be registered at reception in advance. There will be an additional fee charged for each house pet. In Belgium, dogs have to be kept on a leash. Every guest has to take care that this obligation is fulfilled, that dog turds are removed and that other guests are not disturbed. Furthermore, we oblige pet owners to be able to present a vaccination certificate for the respective animal upon request. Is toilet paper available in the holiday home? 2 rolls are provided on your arrival. If you require more, we ask that you obtain it yourself. Are there hand towels and bed linens in the chalet? You may borrow bed linens at reception for an additional charge. Hand towels are not available. Is smoking permitted in the chalet? Smoking is permitted only in specific chalets. Please inquire at reception. Is it possible to order and extra bed? We offer baby beds for children up to 3 years of age. These are available at reception. Is it possible to book these accommodations for one night? In the case of reservations for one night, the two-night rate will be charged. How can I make my booking? Please submit your booking inquiry here or by e-mail to info@worriken.be or contact us by telephone at +32 (0) 80 44 69 61. Which forms of payment do you accept? Payment is to be made in advance. After booking, you will receive a bill as well as the reservation form which is to be signed and returned. In the case of short notice bookings, payment may be made on site by means of credit card, debit card or cash. Should I make my booking via a portal or directly with reception? It is always best to book with us directly. That is much simpler and a savings in time and money. Can I cancel a booking? You can cancel the trip at any time before the start of the trip; this should be done in written form in your interest. In case of cancellation, the following provisions apply: Up to 30 days before arrival you can cancel or rebook free of charge. In case of cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, we will charge you 50% of the total amount. (period 29 days – 14 days before arrival) In case of cancellation up to 7 days before arrival we will charge you 100% of the total amount. (Period 13 days – arrival) In case of early departure or non-arrival, the whole booking amount is due.
