Declaration on accessibility

Accessibility declaration

The DGG Gemeinschaftzentren endeavour to make their websites and applications accessible. The digital accessibility statement is required by the decree on individual and public electronic communication of the authorities of the German-speaking territory (legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council).

This accessibility statement applies to the worriken.be website.

a) Status of conformity

The website has undergone a simplified audit procedure by the competent control body, in which the following WCAG 2.1 success criteria (level AA) are checked:

– 1.1 Non-text content

– 3.1 Info and relationships

– 4.3 Contrast

– 1.1 Keyboard

– 2.1 Timing customisable

– 2.2 Pause, end, hide

– 4.1 Bypassing blocks

– 4.2 Add title to page

– 4.7 Focus visible

– 1.1 Language of the page

– 1.2 Language of parts

– 2.2 On input

– 1.1 Syntax analysis

– 1.2 Name, role, value

At the time of review, this website fully complies with these criteria and is therefore considered partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 success criteria (Level AA).

b) Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on the basis of an automated audit using the BOSA Accessibility Auditing Tool dated 17 June 2024

c) Non-accessible content

No statement can be made about compliance with the criteria that have not been checked.

The documents made available for download do not fully fulfil the accessibility criteria.

d) Suggested alternatives

Any visitor to the website can contact the DGG Gemeinschaftzentren in person at any time on +32(0)80 44 69 61 or by email at info@worriken.be to obtain information that is not accessible to this visitor online.

e) Feedback and contact details

Any questions or comments regarding the accessibility of this website can be sent by email to info@worriken.be or in writing to DGG Community Centres.

Our aim is to write articles in such a way that they can also be understood by visitors who are unfamiliar or only superficially familiar with the topic in question. We are happy to take your suggestions on board if you feel that an article makes the content to be communicated unnecessarily complicated.

f) Enforcement procedure

If you do not receive any feedback, you can contact the competent ombudsman service with complaints regarding this website and the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council:

Ombudsman Service of the German-speaking Community of Belgium

Platz des Parlaments 1

4700 Eupen

g) Plans for improvement

Due to the large number of pages, modules, programmes, etc. to be managed, full compliance with all WCAG 2.1 success criteria cannot be achieved in a single step. The implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 is therefore carried out by continuously improving existing error messages.

This declaration was created on 11 June 2024 and updated on 17 June.
