Discover nature around Worriken
For hiking and cycling, we currently recommend heading mainly south: the High Fens are currently not accessible. The nature around Worriken has plenty to offer beyond the High Fens and invites you to discover new, idyllic places.
For planning your hiking or cycling tour, we recommend the hiking route planner and cycling route planner from Ostbelgien. This allows you to plan your route according to the current conditions.
For cyclists: Monschau is currently not accessible. Malmedy, Stavelot and St. Vith, however, remain accessible via the RAVeL network. These towns are beautiful destinations and ideal for a cycling excursion.
For hikers: the circular trail around Lake Bütgenbach is fully accessible again. Heading south, numerous idyllic paths and landscapes are waiting to be discovered.
Stoneman Arduenna riders and Venntrilogie hikers: please check the latest information and changes on the Ostbelgien website before setting off.
The High Fens are currently partly inaccessible – perhaps now is the perfect time to discover and appreciate the other natural treasures of East Belgium’s south. 🌿💚
